Nancy Turett

Nancy Mensch Turett is Chief Strategist, Health and Society, at  Daniel J. Edelman Inc., the world’s leading independent public relations firm. A member of the Edelman Strategy Committee, Nancy helps companies and organizations earn trust and advance their license to lead through effective engagement in health, which is recognized today as both a business imperative and opportunity for companies across industries. Her health engagement strategies address issues such as personal health empowerment, productive aging, social health, access to health care, business trust and health, mutual health responsibility, and health behavior motivation.  

Nancy led the NY Health division from 1994 through 2000. She then became the founding leader of the global Health practice. A global thought leader on business and societal issues, Nancy has been a key contributor to Edelman’s global intellectual property and created the Edelman Health Barometer in 2008. Her other contributions to the firm include leading the creation of the Edelman Excellence quality program in 1997, founding and leading the Global Citizenship and Fellows program from 2005 through 2008, and serving  as Chair Canada and Latin America from 2006 through 2008.

A graduate of Princeton University, Nancy conducted psychology research at the University of Paris and has done graduate work at the University of Virginia.
