Stephen Dilly
Stephen Dilly, MD, PhD, is the CEO of PhotoThera, a firm focused on developing noninvasive, laser energy therapies. He was previously CEO of APT Pharmaceuticals and was formerly Chief Medical officer at Chiron BioPharma. During his career, he has also worked for Beecham, SmithKline Beecham as Vice President of CardioPulmonary and Vice President of Clinical Neuroscience; Genentech as Head of Clinical and Head of Development Sciences; and Pfizer Central Research in the UK.
Stephen has been closely associated with the development and launch of a number of important new drugs across many therapeutic areas, including Kytril, Paxil CR, Kredex, Requip, TNKase, Xolair, Avastin, Raptiva, Tarceva, Lucentis and Cubicin. He graduated as a physician from the University of London in 1982 and received his Ph.D. in Cardiac Physiology from University of London in 1988.
